Desk Feng Shui: Left Side High, Right Side Low (Dragon vs Tiger Rule)

Intermediate • fengshuiism

Every Object has a Tai Chi

At the advanced level, we don’t just look at rooms, but the micro feng shui of furniture.

The Desk’s “Left Dragon, Right Tiger” 🐉🐅

No matter where your desk faces, when sitting in the chair:

  • Left Side (Green Dragon): Should be High (monitor, stack of files, lamp). Represents benefactors and movement.
  • Right Side (White Tiger): Should be Low (mouse, pen, or empty). Represents peace and guarding wealth.

Bad Example

Phone on the right side—when it rings, you get annoyed (Tiger opening mouth); Left side empty—no one helps you at work (Dragon broken).

The Bed’s “Backing” 🛏️

Advanced Requirement: The headboard must not only be against a wall, but the other side of that wall cannot be a toilet, stove, or elevator shaft.

Reason

Hearing water (Drenching Head Water), fire (Fire Burning Heart), or elevator vibration (Sound Sha) through the wall will subconsciously destroy your nervous system.
